ReplyDeleteI adore your quote from Dr. Suess. It is so simple, yet so very true! I also think the quote from Margret Mead holds a lot of power. Children should be taught how to explore and discover, not to think only as we do. :)
Thank you, again, for sharing your thoughts and wisdom. It has been a wonderful oppotunity to be in another class with you. Good luck with your steps ahead and perhaps we will meet up again in another course!
Hello Lynn-
ReplyDeleteI greatly appreciated your quotes. My favorite, of course, is the Dr. Seuss quote. Throughout our coursework I believe we have learned how much children really know starting from the day they are born. They are not blank slates as one once thought but are curious, inspiration little beings ready to take on all the world can offer them. I also appreciated your quote by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Children make my day exciting as each day I am presented with their curiosity and joy for the world in my classroom. There is no better job in the world than working with children-they make your day so much brighter and joyful. Life is one big present ready to be opened and explored in the eyes of little children! :)
